Asuman Tarım - Multidisipliner Artist

The artist graduated with honors from the Graphic Design Department at Yeditepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, and has developed a multidisciplinary practice. Building upon a strong foundation in visual language and design, the artist expanded their practice through workshops and courses in ceramic and sculpture within the field of plastic arts.

 

Working across sculpture, painting, and surface-based media, the artist explores themes of existence, the body, and transformation. Through organic forms, fluid surfaces, and gestural interventions, the work establishes connections between micro and macro scales, focusing on the fragile and ever-changing nature of life.

 

With an interdisciplinary approach and conceptual depth, the artist’s practice aims to open a reflective space on the weight carried by the body, inner tension, and existential balance within contemporary art discourse.
